JW3 Social Action Incubator

JW3’s Social Action Incubator is a year-long project bringing the community’s social action stakeholders together to ask what are our most urgent social action needs and what projects we can co-create to solve them.

The Social Action Incubator started with conversations. We wanted to find out what you think are the most urgent social action Big Questions and what we need to do to find solutions. We wanted to have conversations, 1:1 with as many of you as possible to discover your thoughts.

Next came the Social Action Hackathon on Sunday 6 July, a day-long event to network with other social action heroes and co-create some amazing new ideas which could answer these urgent needs.

Following the Hackathon, we are developing a number of these ideas further, allowing you to take a deeper dive with some micro-funding and mentoring, culminating in you presenting your proof-of-concept.

The application deadline for the micro-funding is 31st July, with the results being announced in mid September. If you would like to have a further conversation about your idea beyond the deadline, please do reach out and we would love to speak with you about it.

Finally, we will select up to 3 projects for greater investment of money and time in 2026 to launch new social action projects.
